The puppies are teething, and chewing on everything from slippers to the sofa. Some experts say that giving puppies an ice cube to gnaw on will help with the teething pain and irritation. I took the puppies onto the porch and gave them each an ice cube. Buttercup pounced on hers and took it down on the grass to nom. Blaze (above), the brilliant dog she is, took her ice cube and “buried” it behind the dog food canisters. She then plopped herself down on the bottom step and began chewing the porch.
no literally never go out in public with me I will say “dog” every time I see a dog and I will say “hello” to every dog that I meet and if we’re having a conversation I will stop and point when a dog goes by
My fella came from England to see me in Canada. The first place we went was Stanley Park in Vancouver. We got out of the car and walked maybe ten feet… then I saw a cute dog and fell ass over teakettle down a hill. That was four years ago, he still hasn’t let me live it down.
Today is Seymour’s last day with us. The time has come to let him go :( He’s lost the strength in his back legs, and he doesn’t have much of an appetite. He’s lost his spunk. His legs are so bad that he couldn’t even stand long enough to pee - he just peed laying down.
